Fathers are key people in families. Their influence is critical, and they create the tempo of how the family is run. When fathers are stuck in poverty, they tend to lose the momentum to influence their families positively. To enable them to regain their God given leadership role, they need to be empowered.   To do this, AMIA has developed a 7-week program for a group of 12 men in a village. The program will allow them to explore their most important roles (5 Ps of fatherhood) which include Presence, Provision, Priesthood, Protection and Prophecy.   After the training, they are challenged to begin a group project that will enable them to be economically empowered to support their families. After gaining the necessary skills, they will the use the proceeds for individual entrepreneurial activities that will allow them to thrive on their own.   To support a father in this training, it will cost USD 70. To support one fathers’ cohort project, it will cost USD 1000.
